Join blogger Rosie Stone as she chats to 2023 debut authors Rachel Moore (The Library
of Shadows), Skyla Arndt (Together We Rot) and Mackenzie Reed (The Rosewood Hunt) all about their books, their writing and their journey to publication.
About Mackenzie Reed

Mackenzie Reed is the author of books with heart, humor, and hijinks. She has a Communication and Media degree from Nazareth College and unironically enjoys long walks on the beach. Her young adult novels, The Rosewood Hunt and The Wilde Trials, are out now with HarperCollins, her third, Worse Than the Others is coming in 2027, and her forthcoming adult debut, I Hope This Email Finds You in Hell, will be released with Berkley/Penguin Random House in Fall 2026.
About Rachel Moore

Rachel Moore is the author of high-stakes, genre-blending novels The Library of Shadows, Us in Ruins, and her forthcoming adult debut, Safari Murder Party. She lives in Tennessee with her husband and two cats she's violently allergic to. (The cats, not the husband.) On the rare occasion she isn't writing happy endings, you can find her collecting dictionaries, drinking entirely too much coffee, and drifting through the library stacks.
About Rosie Stone

Rosie Stone (she/her) is a bookstagrammer, wannabe writer psychologist based in Essex. Dabbling in social media and podcasting, she has been making bookish friends around the globe and promoting new authors the last few years whilst working for the NHS. She has two main goals: to read all the horror fiction she possibly can, and to help people feel safe expressing their mental health needs. She can be found on Instagram @thezodiacreader_ twitter and tiktok @thezodiacreader.
About Skyla Arndt

Skyla Arndt has always loved the creepy, crawly side of life. When she was younger, she thought that love might translate to hunting Bigfoot, but luckily for him, writing proved easier. Her debut novel, Together We Rot, is a YA horror about two estranged best friends who need to team up to confront an ancient evil in their neighboring woods. Connect with her at arndtskyla.com or @arndtskyla on Instagram or Twitter. (Howling at the moon works, too.)
