About Karen Bultiauw

With a background in teaching and performing arts, Karen has been a bookseller and events manager before working in publicity and marketing in children’s publishing. She is a member of the Welsh chapter of SCBWI and is the marketing manager for a fine jewellery brand while still being an unrepenting bookpusher online. Social: @karenbultiauw

About Manon Steffan Ros

Manon Steffan Ros was born Snowdonia and worked as an actress
before becoming a writer. She writes for adults and children and has won
the Wales Book of the Year for her adult fiction as well as being four-times winner of the Tir na N’Og Welsh children’s literature award. She has also won Eisteddfod and National Theatre Wales awards for her drama writing. She lives in north Wales with her two sons and baby daughter.

Manon’s novel The Blue Book of Nebo won the Yoto Carnegie Medal for Writing 2023.
